At Cook Street Village Dental, we provide a broad range of implant care in-house, allowing many patients to complete multiple aspects of treatment in one location. When specialist care is appropriate, we refer and help coordinate the next steps. Dr. David Thode has undergone extensive training in the placement and restoration of dental implants, and, amongst his other training, is a member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. The initial consultation is a stress-free way to plan the procedure long before the day of surgery. After a thorough examination where we work with you to figure out what would solve your problems the best, we will take a 3D x-ray (here in-house!) which will allow us to plan down to the millimetre where the implant will be placed. We then 3D print surgical guides here in-house which allows us to prepare, plan and place the implant exactly where we want it to go, meaning less invasive surgery, faster healing time and much less discomfort after the procedure. At the initial appointment we will go over all the options for you, so you can choose which one suits you best. Many patients can receive multiple aspects of implant care in-house at Cook Street Village Dental. If specialist care is needed, we will discuss the referral and costs with you. Our prices include everything from the implant to the abutment to the crown. When you’re comparing prices between practices, many places only quote you for the implant, or the crown, and not the two together. Receiving multiple aspects of care in one location can save time, while referrals remain available when appropriate. We also have many financing options and treatment options available, so we can work with you to find a plan that is doable for you.
